Egnyte to Host Inaugural AEC Data Leadership Summit

Virtual Event to Address How Data Is Transforming the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA. (February 24, 2022)

Egnyte, a leader in cloud content security and governance, today announced that registration is open for its inaugural AEC Data Leadership Summit on March 15, 2022. The virtual event will encompass panels and presentations from Egnyte’s AEC team and industry thought leaders on how firms are leveraging data to improve project quality and profitability.

Industry experts speaking at the summit include Nathan Wood, Executive Director of Construction Progress Coalition; Hugh Seaton, General Manager of Crosswalk; and Nick Espinosa, Chief Security Fanatic of Security Fanatics. Other confirmed speakers consist of representatives from PCL Construction, Level 10, Schnabel Engineering, Brasfield & Gorrie, KAST Construction, and more.

"The pandemic propelled a great acceleration of the AEC industry’s digital transformation, with firms adopting a wide range of technologies to address global supply chain issues and a reduced, increasingly remote workforce,” said Ronen Vengosh, Vice President of AEC at Egnyte. “The summit will provide a forum for AEC leaders to share new solutions and strategies to manage and protect the massive amounts of data they are now collecting and sharing every day.”

The half-day virtual summit will cover a variety of topics, such as how to:

  • Increase data collaboration across project teams and partners
  • Manage the explosion of point cloud data
  • Protect sensitive data from ransomware and insider threats
  • Win federal contracts

In addition, Egnyte’s AEC leadership team and product experts will unveil several new platform capabilities, as well as discuss how AEC customers can use Egnyte to prepare for CMMC 2.0.

Register today for the AEC Data Leadership Summit.
