Collaboration 

• Desktop App:
  • Egnyte Actions enhancements: Egnyte Actions for Windows now supports additional right-click actions, multi-file and folder operations, and Dark Mode, helping users manage, share, and access content faster with fewer clicks.
  • Adaptive Block Caching - file-level cache warming (limited availability): Adaptive Block Caching now supports file-level cache warming from Egnyte Actions.
  • Improved lock handling for Autodesk applications: The Desktop App now locks AutoCAD .dst files before opening .dwg drawings, preventing conflicting edits and reducing the risk of data corruption.
• Web UI:
  • Enhanced default folder options: Admins can now configure separate default settings for folder copy and move actions.
  • Metadata descriptions for custom namespaces: Metadata descriptions are now required for custom namespaces and fields, improving search accuracy, data classification, and content organization across repositories.
  • Quick View available in Recent Files: Quick View is now available in Recent Files, enabling users to preview, share, and download files faster without leaving the page.
• Folder-level file request restrictions (iOS app): The mobile app now respects folder-level file request permissions, showing only allowed actions. 
• Audit report for co-editable links: Audit reports now include recipient email addresses for co-editable links, improving monitoring of external content collaboration.
• Enhanced user search in auto-suggest: Enhanced auto-suggest search now supports full-name matching, helping users quickly find and collaborate with the right people across workflows. 
• Browse by tags: Tag browsing now shows only relevant tag values with associated content, enabling faster filtering and easier navigation across files and folders.
• Customizable project metadata: Customizable project metadata is now available through the Project Public API, enabling flexible, scalable management of project-specific attributes.  

Intelligence

• AI feature visibility based on AI Safeguards settings: AI-powered Desktop App features are now automatically hidden for restricted users, facilitating compliance with admin-defined AI Safeguards and access policies.
• AI Support in File Preview (iOS app): AI-powered document Q&A and summarization are now available in shared document previews on iOS.
• AI Assistant Prompt Library (Android app): The Prompt Library is now available on Android, helping users quickly access, filter, favorite, and reuse prompts within AI Assistant.

Governance 

• Metadata criteria for inactive policies: Content Lifecycle policies now support metadata-based criteria for moving data to Inactive status, enabling more targeted and automated lifecycle management.

Industry

• Autodesk Construction Cloud renamed to Autodesk Forma: Egnyte now aligns with Autodesk's updated Autodesk Forma branding across Secure & Govern.

Integration

• Egnyte tab in Teams shared and private channels: Admins can enable Egnyte tabs in Shared and Private Teams channels, enabling centralized access, file sharing, co-editing, and management.
