Collaboration 

• Egnyte Sign—override signed-document location: Override signed-document location when applying templates, store files in preferred folders, and improve flexibility, organization, and access to completed Egnyte Sign documents. 
• Egnyte Sign GxP (Life Sciences): Ensure compliant document workflows with Egnyte Sign GxP, strengthen authentication and audit trails, meeting FDA and international regulatory requirements.
• Egnyte Sign—validate external signer: Enable or disable external signer validation, require authentication before signing, add identity verification, and prevent unauthorized access to signing sessions. 
• Egnyte Actions context menu: Access common folder actions directly from Desktop App (macOS), manage permissions, create upload links, view details, and seamlessly open corresponding views in WebUI. 
• Login window integrated into application UI: Login faster—the login flow is now integrated into the main app UI, so it’s always visible, not hidden behind other applications. 
• Folder-level control to enable or disable upload links: Manage folder-level upload links directly, enable or restrict link creation, and securely request files from external stakeholders with granular permissions. 
• Improved Search filter controls: Streamline search filters with one-click removal, visual tags, and a reset option to quickly refine searches and find relevant content.
• Customizable project metadata: Define custom metadata fields to capture project details and statuses, and align tracking with team workflows across web and desktop. 
• Export metadata tag views: Export metadata tag views as CSV to review tagged files, analyze content, and support auditing and reporting. 
• Right sidebar in File Preview: Navigate File Preview with a unified right sidebar to access AI Assistant, comments, workflows, details, tags, and insights in one place. 
• Filter workflows by template name: Filter workflows by template name, select multiple templates, and quickly find and manage relevant workflows. 
• Redesigned folder details and options pop-up: Manage folder notification email settings more easily with the new Preferences tab. Folder-specific preferences are now easier to access, organize, and manage. 
• Folder options application preference while moving or copying folders: Apply folder options during copy or move, set admin defaults, and preserve source or destination preferences to ensure consistent permissions and reduce manual adjustments. 
• Egnyte iOS app—voice shortcuts: Enable voice actions in iOS app via Siri, perform key workflows hands-free, access files and AI chat, and trigger commands using “Egnyte” as the keyword.  

Intelligence

• AI-powered Smart Search: Find files and folders using plain language search, use @username to surface user-owned content, discover relevant files faster, and reduce time navigating folders.
• MCP Server—admin controls for allowed apps: Manage application access to MCP Server, allow trusted clients by default, and control unregistered web clients for secure, governed AI integrations. 
• Advanced spreadsheet analysis in Egnyte AI tools: Enable advanced spreadsheet analysis in AI Assistant and Knowledge Bases. Use natural language, perform lookups, aggregations, trends, comparisons, filtering, and calculations. 
• Automated tagging for single documents: Generate smart tag suggestions from file content, review and approve tags, reduce manual effort, and transform unstructured data into organized, AI-ready content. 
• Quick View: Preview files instantly with Quick View, stay within listings, access actions, generate AI summaries, and quickly switch between files to find the right one.          
• Egnyte iOS App—AI chat enhancements:
  • Improved text formatting in AI chat responses: Render AI chat responses with markdown formatting in the Egnyte mobile app, display headings, bold, italics, lists, and links clearly within the chat interface. 
  • Streaming AI responses in chat: Stream AI chat responses in the Egnyte mobile app, display answers progressively in real time, improve perceived speed, and deliver a faster, more responsive chat experience. 
• Egnyte Android App—AI chat enhancements:
  • New chat and chat history: Start new chats to reset conversations, access chat history, revisit past discussions, and continue workflows seamlessly within AI Assistant. 
  • Response streaming: Stream responses in AI Assistant on Android, display answers progressively in real time, and deliver a faster, more responsive chat experience. 
  • AI support in File Preview: Enable AI Assistant and summarization in shared document previews, allow logged-in users to get insights instantly, and improve content understanding without leaving the app. 

Governance

• Unusual access—Adaptive Block Cache (ABC) support: Enhance unusual-access detection using ML for ABC events. Please note that 60 days of user history are necessary for unusual-access detections to be triggered.
• Sync deletions in external replications (limited availability): Turn sync deletions on or off during replication setup for AWS S3 and Wasabi with the new Other Settings step. (Sync deletions are off by default.)

Platform 

• Egnyte for SharePoint Online: Upgrade to SharePoint Online integration v2, enable real-time sync, improve performance, gain full Web UI access, and prepare for v1 retirement on April 2, 2026.
• Shared migration jobs accessible to all domain admins (general availability):   Select the desired filter to view migration jobs created either by anyone or exclusively by themselves. 
• Option to download success report and automatically run validation command: Download migration success reports, track migrated files, automatically run validation after true-up, reduce manual steps, and streamline migration workflows with optional automation.
