Vice President, Customer Services[/caption]Consistently exceeding customer expectations in all areas of support, both pre- and post-sales, is the spark behind every great company.  This is why I am delighted to announce the arrival of Steve Blaz (pronounced “Blaze”) who is taking up the newly created position of Egnyte’s Vice President, Customer Services. In this new role, Steve will be responsible for all aspects of pre- and post-sales customer support including Customer Success, Technical Support, Professional Services, Pre-Sales and Training.Steve brings more than 25 years of deep expertise and success in the areas of worldwide service and support, strategic partnering and business operations. Previously, Steve was Vice President, Customer Service and Support at Fusion-io (acquired by SanDisk), where he had global oversight of the Customer Service and Support team, serving customers, OEMs, as well as Field and Channel partners.Prior to that, Steve served as Vice President, Strategy Office at NetApp, responsible for the strategic direction of NetApp’s Customer Success Service organization and executing a comprehensive Service Partner ecosystem. Prior to NetApp, Steve was President and CEO of Steve Blaz and Associates, a service transformation firm. His company focused on providing high-level strategic consulting and operational expertise to service, support, and operations executives.Before his entrepreneurial practice, he spent four years in the position of Vice President of Global Service Operations for Juniper Networks, where he successfully spearheaded the transformation of that organization. In addition, Steve enjoyed 13 years with Cisco Systems in executive level and general management positions, leading the company’s Global Product Services and Global Onsite Services. During his tenure with Cisco, Steve led the growth and expansion of Cisco’s Onsite Services from $4 million to in excess of $4 billion.During this time, Steve has been recognized for accomplishments in driving improvements in customer satisfaction, operational excellence and building high performance teams. I am delighted to have him join Egnyte where he will continue “blazing” a trail in services and support for our valued customers.
