To All:

As we celebrate our 10th Thanksgiving at Egnyte today, I am humbled and I am thankful.

Vineet Jain, CEO and co-founder of Egnyte.

I am humbled by the amazingly talented group of individuals at our company, a group of individuals that works so hard every day to make Egnyte the best it can be. Just when I think I am giving it my all, I look around and see all of the energy and passion in the Egnyters and it drives me to keep going. I am humbled by the fact that their energy and passion doesn’t stop when they leave the office. The Egnyters take time to give back to our communities, participating in the Back-to-School Backpack Drive, which provided hundreds of backpacks for underprivileged children, the Thanksgiving Food Drive, which provided thousands of dollars worth of food for local families in need, and many other charitable activities throughout the year. They give me genuine pride to be a leader at Egnyte, knowing our company is so much more than just a business that makes money. We are a family that looks after one another and makes a positive impact on the community around us.

For the Egnyters, I am thankful.

I am humbled by our customers, who give us such positive feedback and continue to show such strong support for our business. Whether it is through peer reviews, customer surveys, or reference calls, our customers make us feel so great about the work we are doing and the impact we are making. I am humbled by the fact that our customers treat us like partners and not just another vendor. I have done business with many organizations in my time, but I have never experienced the tight-knit relationships with customers like we have at Egnyte. Our customers know we will always go the extra mile for them and they do the same for us, which gives me a great sense of confidence in our future.

For our customers, I am thankful.

I am humbled by the endless amount of opportunities that are provided to us in America. Immigrating to this country over 20 years ago, there has been endless reminders of just how lucky we are to have the freedom to do what we do and build what we want to build. I am humbled by all of the amazing people in this country and more specifically, Silicon Valley. Being in a place that welcomes innovation from all walks of life, no matter who they are, is truly something special. The variety of cultural influences in America have helped shape Egnyte and make our company such an amazing place to be.

For America (and Silicon Valley), I am thankful.

Here’s to all of you, that you may have a peaceful and fulfilling Thanksgiving Holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Vineet Jain
