Today we are excited to announce a new technology partnership with Jive, a leading provider of communication and collaboration solutions for business. With this new partnership Jive and Egnyte customers will enjoy a tight integration between our two platforms that will further enhance user experience and simplify business processes to create a powerful solution for any size organization.

Enhanced collaboration capabilities include synchronization between Egnyte folders and Jive spaces. Egnyte is the primary storage location for files uploaded into Jive. Imagine you are the director of HR and you need to update benefits information for the new year. Saving the revised benefit information in your Egnyte folder will automatically publish them to the appropriate Jive space, getting rid of the need to publish individual documents in Jive or to keep multiple folders organized. Most importantly, access permissions in both systems are respected and synchronized, meaning that only authorized individuals can view, edit or post content.

Jive users can also call up an Egnyte file picker directly from the Jive user interface to quickly locate a file they are looking for and publish it to Jive without ever leaving the Jive environment. Quick and easy!
