Since joining Egnyte earlier this year, I have had the opportunity to work closely with our teams and our customers in the U.S. and abroad to help shape the future of Egnyte and this industry.

CSO, Marketing, executiveToday, I’m looking forward to stepping into my new role as Chief Strategy Officer, in which I will have the opportunity to lead key corporate initiatives with a focus on driving global growth through the advancement of our product, partner ecosystem, and go-to market strategy across select verticals and regions.

My first initiatives will be to:

  1. Double down on hybrid — helping customers move to the cloud at their own pace, preserving their past infrastructure investment in accordance with regulations and security requirements.
  2. Capitalize on our data and analytics engine — bringing analytics intelligence to both IT professionals and business users, so they can fully utilize their SaaS solutions.
  3. Scale our business —integrating with a broad variety of infrastructure and applications in our ecosystem of partners, offering professional services and expanding our global footprint.

Over the past 20 years, I have watched the IT and business user relationship transform. Traditionally, IT had to do everything in-house, which meant there were a limited number of user requests they could satisfy. With SaaS solutions being at the forefront of most businesses today, it is creating a world where IT and end-user needs can both be met. However, this world is a complex one where a one-size-fits-all solution simply will not suffice.

In my new role, I look forward to taking these challenges head-on and utilizing my experience with big data and analytics to create customizable solutions for our customers. We will develop greater value-added services that will be vital to the success of our customers’ businesses while continuing to deliver best-in-class solutions that fulfill the requirements of the enterprise – both on premises and in the cloud.
