It’s day two at VMworld SF, and the Egnyte team is gearing up for a full schedule of executive briefings and product demos with attendees wanting to learn more about Egnyte’s full suite of enterprise file services. As a silver sponsor this year, we’re thrilled to participate with the likes of our partners NetApp, Synology and VMware at this industry-leading event.

Be sure to stop by our booth #635 to see demonstrations of the latest and greatest for our three flagship solutions – Cloud File Server, Storage Sync and Storage Connect. We’ll also dive into our full suite of file services that includes: File Sync and Share, Hybrid File Server, Cross-Site Synchronization, Cloud Tiering and Archiving, and a Global Namespace.

In addition to demos and meetings, Egnyte has some fantastic raffles and giveaways. We will host a raffle at 1:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. If you’re at the event, be sure to put your name in the hat for a chance to win one of these awesome prizes:

  • Monday: Fender® guitar
  • Tuesday: Coach® bag
  • Wednesday: Two Bulova® watches (male/female style watches)

Today, as you might have seen, Egnyte announced the latest version of Storage Connect, a solution that enables direct access to files stored behind the firewall without data or metadata moving to the cloud. Storage Connect 2.0 introduces cluster deployments, providing high availability and horizontal scalability to meet the privacy and security requirements of enterprise customers. We also introduced WebEdit for Storage Connect to allow customers to edit files stored behind the firewall in their native applications. We’re happy to share more details about this announcement at the event.

I also have to give a shout out to our team from last night. Yesterday, we dodged, ducked, and dove on the court in EMC’s annual #v0dgeball Charity Tournament 2014. Ten of our employees took to the dodgeball court with 15 other teams. We are thrilled to have participated in this friendly competition to support the Wounded Warrior Project.

Interested in a demo? Want to enter the raffle? Curious to learn more? If you are at this year’s event, come on over to our booth #635. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.
