The cloud market is undoubtedly crowded, with vast competition from file sharing to storage to backup (the list goes on and on). In spite of all this competition, we’ve continued to focus on building a best-in-class enterprise file-sharing solution to meet the diverse needs of our customers. As a testament to the great progress we’ve made, I’m thrilled to announce that Egnyte has been awarded the Best Cloud Data Centre & Storage Solution at the seventh annual Cloud World Forum in London. We’re in great company with this win – other winners include Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and Cohesive FT.

The Cloud World Series Awards is a marquee event in the UK for the ever-expanding cloud ecosystem. Its prestigious awards program, determined by an independent judging board of Cloud Computing experts, recognizes the innovation and hard work that keeps the cloud industry at the cutting edge of technological development worldwide.

The Best Cloud Data Centre and Storage Solution category highlights the most innovative and efficient solutions of the cloud data centres and storage space, focusing on agility, flexibility and data processing efficiency. Presented by Editor of Computer Weekly Bryan Glick, Egnyte won the category, beating out other category entrants, Spanning Cloud Apps and Zadara.

It’s great to see that our work in the region is turning heads so soon after our European launch, and receiving this award alongside some strong leaders in the cloud industry shows we’re clearly making a firm impression on the market and among our industry peers.
