Python Software Engineer (Mountain View, CA - USA)

As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in bridging the gap between our Technical Support and Product Development teams. This will include maintaining and continuing to enhance internal tools built in Python. Additionally, you’ll work closely with both our Sr. Technical Support Engineers and Sr. Software Engineers to investigate complex customer issues and assist in the development and implementation of solutions.

We are considering new college grads for this position.

Skills - Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience with Python. Professional experience preferred. Academic and internship experience okay.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Desire to learn and willingness to take on a wide range of assignments.
  • Knowledge of SDLC. Familiarity with Agile a plus
  • Knowledge of Java a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux.

Director, Software Engineering (Mountain View, CA - USA)

Our Director, Software Engineering will have the opportunity to lead, and continue to build, a talented group of software engineers in designing, developing and implementing our hybrid file sharing solutions. This will include driving development processes across multiple product lines in a fast paced, start up environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Continuing to build and develop a talented team of Software Engineers.

Sr. Director, Quality Assurance (Mountain View, CA - USA)

We're looking for a Sr. Director of QA who can take ownership of quality across all Egnyte products. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this is a high-energy position in a high-velocity organization that requires someone who is flexible, nimble, creative, aggressive and smart.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own all aspects of quality of our Storage Sync, Desktop Sync, Cloud and Mobile products
  • Manage a team of over 20 engineers (US, Poland, India) working on parallel initiatives
  • Work with Product Managers, Development and Operations Leads to plan, test and deliver the highest quality software
  • Interact closely with executive stake-holders
  • Relentlessly pursue quality and have great attention to details and schedules
  • Create an exhaustive test framework for both manual and automated testing to achieve maximum coverage
  • Build a top-notch infrastructure for automated, repeatable, predictable, stress and system tests
  • Synthesize engineering, go-to-market and operational imperatives to produce realistic, yet aggressive, release plans and drive them through completion

Skills - Experience and Requirements:

  • 10+ years Software Testing experience
  • Focused on metrics driven processes
  • Demonstrated success in managing highly productive QA and automation teams
  • Experience managing both on-shore and off-shore QA and automation teams
  • Experience with both black-box functional and white box automated testing
  • Experience in building/developing automated frameworks in Java/Python
  • Experience in designing and building test frameworks for stress and scalability testing
  • Experience in shipping highly scalable products in the cloud strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of state of the art automation frameworks is a must
