Egnyte HybridCloud is optimized for hassle-free upload and storage of any file type, regardless of size. Even the largest files – such as CAD drawings and Photoshop® images – can be easily transferred, stored, and shared across a wide-range of Internet connection speeds using Egnyte. Think of Egnyte as a virtually limitless file repository. Egnyte services come standard with 150 GB, 1 TB or 3 TB of online storage – additional storage can be purchased and added as needed. Once the account administrator has set folder permissions (read/write/delete) for the online storage, users can start uploading using Egnyte’s full range of file transfer tools.

- Employees can utilize Egnyte Local Cloud or mapped drive to transfer and manage files directly on their desktop. Individual or multiple files and folders can be seamlessly uploaded and downloaded through the drag and drop interface of Windows Explorer or Mac Finder. This upload method is recommended for users who prefer their desktop interface to manage files and folders.

- Using the Egnyte web interface, users can upload files directly from any standard web browser. The standard web uploader allows for multi-file upload with a simple click of a button or drag-and-drop directly to the web browser. This upload method is recommended for users uploading files up to 2.5 GB.
- Multiple Folder Transfer – Java Web Uploader
- Need to upload multiple folders? Users can upload multiple folders using the Java uploader on the Egnyte web interface. Egnyte utilizes the power of Java applet to enable convenient mass uploads. This upload method is recommended for users uploading folders up to 2 GB.
- Large File Transfer – Unified FTP*
- Egnyte’s Unified FTP capability allows employees to quickly upload and download large files and folders using any FTP client (e.g. FileZilla). This instant FTP solution eliminates the need to set up complex traditional FTP servers, while providing all the security benefits of Egnyte. - Database Transfer – Data Migration
- Businesses looking to migrate their database to Egnyte Cloud File Server can utilize the data migration service. Save time and bandwidth by having Egnyte migrate existing data online. Businesses can ship Egnyte a disk drive with the data they wish to transfer. Egnyte then uploads the contents of the disk drive to their Egnyte account, providing an exact copy of the data ready for access.
