The file server is dead
A study by Forrester Research shows that over half of IT managers at SMBs underestimate the cost of owning a traditional file server. Additionally, Forrester found that 41% of US workers are using various unapproved online file storage and data services for work purposes. We found that traditional file servers cost 5 times more than Egnyte HybridCloud. The death of the file server is imminent.

 Coming Soon
Personal Local Cloud Subfolder Sync
After numerous requests from our users we are enabling subfolder sync on Personal Local Cloud. Previously, users could drill down one level and select folders to sync. Soon users will be able to drill down as far as needed to select which folders they want to sync locally on their computer.
Office Local Cloud and Enterprise Local Cloud
We will soon launch new versions of our OLC and ELC products with significantly upgraded permissions management functionality. The enhancements provide increased speed and accuracy of permissions enforcement on OLC and ELC. A new reporting module to manage permissions will also be available.
These enhancements will allow customers to expand their hybrid deployments to a larger numbers of users and offices and keep pace with exploding data growth.
