In our Nov newsletter, we'd like to share several improvements and upcoming enhancements.
Featured Announcement: ELC-NAS
We are very excited to announce the beta availability of the Egnyte Local Cloud on Network Attached Storage (NAS). The ELC-NAS is the next big step in our continued support for hybrid cloud solution - a combination of on-premise hardware and the cloud, to best meet your file serving needs.
ELC-NAS allows you to run a fully functional file server within your office at a fraction of the cost of traditional approaches. ELC-NAS offers full synchronization of both user permissions and data between your On Demand File Server and the NAS device. To participate in this beta release, please contact us.

Recent Improvements
Mobile Access for Blackberry and Android Devices
You can now access your file server from both RIM Blackberry and Android devices. Mobile access is an integral part of providing you secure access to your data from anywhere. Access using your iPhone has already been available for many months.
Simply use the native browser on any of these smartphones to access your account page (e.g. https://abc.egnyte.com) and login. No special downloads are required. You can view browse folders, view and download files and even share them by emailing out files as attachments or links.
Automated Ticketing and Knowledgebase
In addition to improvements in our product, we are committed to improving your overall experience with Egnyte. We rolled a new ticketing system last month. Your support requests and inquiries are automatically issued a ticket number so you can reference these in your exchanges with us.
We plan to enhance this further in the next few weeks. Customers will have direct access to our knowledge base, look up solutions to common questions, and make feature requests. You will also be able to look at the status of your own tickets at any time.
