EcoMedia is an environmental media company. The company develops marketing and media programs that help businesses connect to consumers while generating necessary resources to address critical environmental challenges.The company has needs to support employees across three cities, many of whom travel frequently. After constant challenges with access and reliability of a physical file server, EcoMedia decided to rollout Egnyte.
Media Production Manager, Kristen O'Connor, who was responsible for selecting and rolling out Egnyte within her company, sums up her experience:

Recent Improvements |
 New User Grid: The new grid for viewing files and folders in the web interface provides you with increased flexibility and controls. This grid features improved sorting, ability to rearrange or resize fields in your view to suit your preferences. |

 Backup Improvements: Based on cumulative feedback gathered over the last many months, we have made several improvements to our backup software. The enhanced software allows you better defaulting (e.g. picking your entire Documents folder on a computer), improved scheduling controls (e.g. run every day at noon) and better status reporting on the completion of your backup (e.g. 100 of 200 files backed up). You can install or upgrade the backup software by simply logging into your Egnyte account and clicking on the Backup Computer action. |

 Enhanced Linking (now under SEND): The enhanced LINK TO feature is now under the SEND action menu. You can now generate links to multiple files simultaneously and even set expiration (e.g. 7 days) on the links, after which the link will become inactive. |

 HIPAA - Business Associate Agreement: For our customers in the medical and pharmaceutical business, Egnyte offers a business associate agreement if you plan to store PHI information within your Egnyte account. A copy of the business associate agreement is available here. |
