Egnyte Expands Global Operations Through Hiring and Establishing New Regional Centers

Late last year, we announced that we closed our $29.5 million Series D funding round with plans to expand operations in 2014. I’m happy to share today that we’ve started working toward these plans and are opening regional centers in Spokane, Washington and New York, in addition to hiring talented individuals at our company headquarters in Mountain View, California. We’re also going global and will soon be opening a new European headquarters in London AND will be broadening our operations in Poland.

Why the fast growth, you ask? Enterprises require simple and secure access to 100% of their files from any device and wherever works takes them. We’re providing a service that does just that - through the cloud and by leveraging existing on-premise storage infrastructure. Our accelerating growth and the rapid expansion of the enterprise file-sharing market overall underscores the need for complete file sharing, sync, and storage capabilities, and this expansion will enable us to meet the growing global demand, as well as provide our customers and partners with attentive and dedicated local support.

For our international plans, we work with a large installed base throughout Europe and will now be able to better service our customers with the establishment of a regional presence in London, as well as continued expansion of our development center in Poland.
